Dreamy Hue Dreamy Hue is the place we had the opportunity to visit this summer. Because I'm lazy, I would like to post our detailed and specific itinerary to Hue this winter!!! I recommend that anyone who wants to chill like the four of us should follow along.
We planned to go to Hue in early July 2024 and officially visited Hue on July 14 and 15. We went to Hue mainly to visit the mausoleums and do food tours, so to fully experience Hue, everyone should read the last part hihi. Departure
location: Da Nang.
Transportation:
We went to Hue during our internship, so traveling from Hanoi or Da Nang didn't cost much. If you want to save on transportation costs like us, you can apply to become a student of the Faculty of Hotel - Tourism, University of Commerce so that you can travel like us every semester!
The first day we had a bit of trouble getting around, so we skipped the difficult stuff. If you have a lot of money, you can book a 5-seater car for 680k (this is the price for a night trip), and the ticket price for a regular bus is 80k/person.
We combined both motorbike and grab in Hue. The cost was around 400k per person (including the cost of moving from Da Nang to Hue and Hue to Da Nang). Rental price: we rented 3 motorbikes, total 300k/3 motorbikes. Maybe because we went for 5 months, I don't remember where we rented the motorbikes anymore hehe.
Hotel: Hong Thien 1
The time we went was after the final round of the Diff 2024 international fireworks festival, on the weekend, so the room rate for 4 people was 600k/room. The hotel was quite okay, if there were 5 people, staying in this room would still be comfortable. The hotel is also near the walking street, so it's very convenient for visiting Hue at night.
Besides, because of some unforeseen events, on the night of the 14th we stopped to stay at the hotel, the price was 250k/room for 4 people. I don't remember the hotel's name, but in the unfortunate case of the four of us, it was acceptable ))
Weather:
Before going to the sightseeing spot, I want to complain a little about the weather. Oh my, planning was fine. Damn, rain!!! Immersed in Hue for a few days with only rain. But it's okay, it rained when we went out. When we came back, it was sunny, wasn't it fun )). And below are the places I visited in Hue in 2 days.
Day 1: DONG BA MARKET - AN DINH PALACE - TU DUC TOMB
DONG BA MARKET
On the morning of the first day, we started by visiting Dong Ba market. The four of us immediately made a Hue shirt for 30k each, and when we came back it was raining and we were left with only the shirt fabric. But that's okay because we are chill leopards. With my obsession with conical hats, I also bought a super cute conical hat for 30k. We also bought souvenir bracelets, in case there were 6 of us, we bought 6, but currently, 2 of mine and Anh Duong have flown to Japan with my sister. Just because I forgot them in my backpack

We stopped by a beef noodle shop, also right near the walking street. My family sympathizes, I went there 5 months ago and now I don't remember. In my opinion, the Hue beef noodle soup sold in Hue is different from the Hue beef noodle soup sold in Hanoi. But let's not compare, it's not painful

AN DINH PALACE
After eating, we went to An Dinh Palace, the entrance fee is 50k/person, parking fee is 5k/vehicle. It was raining so the road in the Palace was a bit dirty and muddy. But in general, An Dinh Palace is still a place worth visiting. There is a pretty garden behind, so if there are many guests in the house, everyone can go out behind to take pictures first. That day it was raining but there were still quite a few guests coming to take pictures. The view of the stairs was about 30 minutes, 1 hour without any photo angle because everyone was taking pictures, quite crowded =)))

LANG TU DUC
Suddenly reviewing Hue, I don't remember what we ate for lunch that day, I think we had a bowl of beef noodle soup for lunch
. We visited Tu Duc Tomb in the late afternoon. In my head now, there is only the impression of Hue's heavy rain, so please forgive me for the nth time.
The entrance ticket to Tu Duc Tomb is 150k/person. Parking is free outside, but you should buy some water to support the ladies and gentlemen right at the gate. Each of us must have been thirsty after taking so many photos, so we each had a cup, on average ~ 15 fish.
Tu Duc Tomb is quite large, very large. I don't know what to review about Tu Duc Tomb, but it was still chill. The most chill was our friend Chau.
After going to Tu Duc Tomb, we stopped by Banh Ep Hue, the price fluctuates around 5k each. This dish is super delicious, worth trying, everyone. Next time I come back to Hue, I will definitely have to eat this dish again

EVENING OF DAY 1
On the evening of day 1, a little bit unsettling, we looked for a night market, but when we got there, we discovered that the market had not been open for a long time. SOS. So if you visit Hue at night, you should take a walk on the walking street or walk around Hue Imperial City. Or you can go on a food tour around Hue like us.
We tried the tapioca dumplings with roasted pork ~ 15 fish. It's quite worth a try. Then we stopped by Banh mi O Tho, this shop is both delicious and cheap, we bought bread for only 10 to 15 fish.
DAY 2: HUE IMPERIAL CITY - DA NANG
It's too long to write here, I'm lazy...
On the second day, we just walked around Hue. At first, we planned to eat rice, mussel rice blabla. At noon, we went to eat grilled spring rolls, vermicelli with fish sauce, and rice rolls )) So I suggest that if you want to eat something, you should search in advance and make a schedule, don't be like us ))). To Chau, Huyen, Trang, this trip to Hue will never be forgotten. Oh, I forgot, on the morning of the second day, we stopped by P'Lao. Oh my gosh, this restaurant is extremely delicious. I went to Da Nang and Hanoi but there was no restaurant as delicious as this one. Next time I go back to Hue, I will definitely come back. Huhu I miss it so much.
We only walked around the outside of the Hue Imperial City, not going deep inside. But when I went in 2022, the inside of the Imperial City was quite large, and the comment was that everyone should rent traditional costumes or ao dai to take beautiful photos. As for me, I only stick to conical hats.
In the morning, we walked around, in the afternoon we played around at the Imperial City, then we took a bus to the station and went back to Da Nang. Aiza, in general, it was a bit unstable but quite wonderful, immersed in the Hue rain this summer, I have nothing to regret.
To make the trip to Hue smooth, everyone should, especially have a clear schedule and have time to avoid running out of time at a destination like us. Each of us went for 2 days and 2 nights, the cost was about 1.5 million VND per person. However, if everyone needs a detailed schedule, especially to save time and money, there is no other place where everyone can book a tour of Dat Viet Tour hehe.
